SkinMedica AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser is a daily face wash that combines alpha and beta hydroxy acids with soft, biodegradable jojoba beads to lift away dead surface cells. It helps smooth rough texture, clear the look of congested pores and brighten dull skin, and is designed for normal, combination and oily skin.

Key Ingredients

• Salicylic acid (BHA): oil-soluble exfoliant that helps keep pores looking clear
• Botanical AHA sources (bilberry, sugar cane, sugar maple, orange and lemon extracts): mild exfoliation for smoother-looking skin
• Jojoba beads (hydrogenated jojoba oil): rounded, biodegradable spheres for gentle buffing
• Licorice root extract and panthenol: help skin feel comfortable and conditioned

How to Use

1. AM and/or PM, wet face with lukewarm water.
2. Work a small amount into a lather and massage in circles for 30–60 seconds, avoiding the eye area.
3. Rinse well and pat dry.
4. Follow with a serum such as SkinMedica Lytera 2.0 or TNS Advanced+, then moisturizer.
5. In the morning, finish with broad-spectrum sunscreen; AHAs can increase sun sensitivity.

New to acids? Start 2–3 times a week and build up. On nights you use SkinMedica Retinol Complex, switch to a gentle cleanser if your skin feels sensitive.

Who It's For

Normal, combination and oily skin with dullness, visible pores or rough patches. Not ideal for very sensitive or compromised skin. Contains lavender and citrus oils.
